DAVID AUTRY and MIKE SCHEITZACH
(Oklahoma City), traveled to Logan County and laced them up before Judge Brooks. Client faced two counts of lewd acts with then-fourteen year old boy. The boy reported the alleged acts three years later and, by the time of trial, had joined the Army and testified in his uniform. Client had no priors, took the stand in his own defense, and the defense presented about 14 witnesses, both for character of the accused and to impeach the credibility of the complaining witness. Jury out for about an hour and fifteen minutes on Tuesday, April 5, 2005, before returning with NOT GUILTY on all counts. Second time since OCDW took to the air waves that David has provided us with a victory. Way to go, David and Mike!
