(Tulsa County Public Defender's Office), defended client charged with Burg. II (trying to steal some tires from a business). Client had prior for embezzlement and State offered four years. Offer--de-nied. Client took the stand in his own defense despite the prior and client's mother testified also. Defense requested lesser included of B&E (client clearly had no authority to be inside building) and that's what he got–not guilty of the Burg.II and nine months w/credit for time served. Should be out by St. Patrick's Day. Cori has previously walked completely a client against a charge of Rape I. Terrific result Cori and Travis.
