JOHN HUNSUCKER
(Oklahoma City), won an acquittal in a domestic abuse trial on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 in Judge Glenn Jones' courtroom, Oklahoma County. John overcame eyewitness testimony and a prior domestic abuse conviction. Great job, John (I did not get to discuss the case with John prior to this issue going out so not much detail).
01.11.06 (OKC) joining the accomplishment of Thomas Mortensen, won an acquittal in a misdemeanor DUI case in Oklahoma County last Wednesday, January 11, 2006. I was unable to interview John about the case, but Stephen Fabian reports that client was arrested by OHP who testified to the usual DUI suspects: odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes, and admission of drinking. There was little or no evidence that client's driving was affected or other physical manifestations of drunkenness. John brought in experts from Texas (Walden and Platt, former Texas Highway Patrol SFST instructors) to give testimony regarding SFSTs and how they were administered by the arresting officer. Outstanding, John!.
