I have not heard much good news from the trenches lately, but this comes to me from Jack Pointer who reports that these two secured LWOP for their client in a death penalty case in Oklahoma County in the teeth of terrible facts, Judge Susan Caswell, and prosecutor Sandy Elliott. I know many of you do not practice in Oklahoma County but believe me, if you find yourself in a capital murder trial in front of Caswell with Sandy prosecuting and your client gets LWOP, you had a very good result.
