The Oklahoma Criminal Defense Weekly is a newsletter distributed via e-mail that is designed to keep Oklahoma criminal law practitioners updated, on a continuous, weekly basis on all relevant decisions, even the unpublished decisions, affecting the practice of criminal law from the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, the Tenth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court, complete with links to these opinions as well as a professional summary by attorney James L. Hankins.
The newsletter also includes features such as “Hearsay”, which consists of news from the criminal defense community, including upcoming seminars and other CLE events; “Victories”, which tracks your wins; and “Advocacy”, which includes legal articles by Mr. Hankins and others, relevant breaking news, and, in pdf format, transcripts of particularly compelling cross-examinations, opening statements, or other acts of advocacy that illustrate the highest performance of the lawyer for the accused.
